Hola, 

My name is Joanne and I own and operate Tribal Tulum yoga studio. I have worked with Mindy Sisco on several yoga projects and intensives and have found her to be not only an amazing yoga teacher and practitioner but a professional you can count on. She arrives on time or early, plans her classes and her schedule, accommodates students and is never in a rush if they have questions after her class or workshop. 

Additionally, she helps other teachers and is an amazing team player. When I need a sub for whatever class from Vinyasa Flow to Restorative, she is there for me and eager to help.  She is versatile in her teaching skills, wonderful at adjustments and has developed her own style and adaptations that make her stand out among teachers. 

Mindy works her own publicity, is an amazing photographer and a very good graphic designer. Her posters inspire people and incite their curiosity about yoga and her classes. 

I enjoy working with her on every level and will always make room for her here at my studio. You may want to consider doing the same.

So thankful for Mindy for spontaneously coming to Cleveland to share her expertise on body awareness in yoga practice, inversions, backbending and AcroYoga. This was by far the best intensive I've ever attended. 10 hours of intense physical practice over the course of two days! How do we know Mindy is amazing? I'm not sore! I have no back pain after three hours of backbending. She teaches with so much integrity for the body. Thank you Mindy and thank you EDP for hosting us.

Mindy is an excellent teacher! I practiced with Mindy at Kaizen for 2 years and I developed physically and mentally in that time. Her classes allow you to be challenged and an improvement in my practice was significant. Mindy’s knowledge of not only yoga philosophy but also alignment makes her such an amazing and inspiring teacher. I was given my best adjustment in her class and her unique and creative way to help students align correctly ensure students can find correct alignment in self practice. Mindy’s classes are also fun! Hard work! And definitely a workout. I miss practising with Mindy but I know her lessons are forever embedded in my practice. I can’t thank her enough.

I've known Mindy for years. Over that time, she has searched for the knowledge to take her from good to excellent as a teacher. She wants to have a collection of tools available to her to help every student in the way that best suits them. I have been practicing yoga for 20 years, but I still learn new things about myself, that Mindy helps me unlock, all the time.

Physical Change |

I began having strong PMS symptoms after childbirth. Since I’ve begun my training, my symptoms are getting better and I recover quicker.  

I’ve experienced much pain relief in my jaw, wrists, and low back.

My whole body is recovering. Now I can enjoy spending more time with my kids in my daily life that I couldn’t before because I would get tired easily.

Inner Change | 

During my time training with Mindy 1-1, there were moments I wanted to give up. However, after training with her over time, through the journey of my yoga practice with you,  I found the “true me.”
I think that physical change is important, but I found significant benefits in inner change.
We are living In a rapidly changing era in this world; I truly feel that yoga is the most necessary thing for modern people.

그 시간을 지나야만 만나지는 내면의 나를 찾아가는 여정이 되었습니다
저는 몸의 변화도 중요하지만 그 이상으로 내면의 변화에 더 큰 의미가 있었으며 
급변하는 시대에 현대인에게 그 무엇보다도 필요한 것이 요가가 아닌가 라는 생각을 하며 후기를 마칩니다.

I’ve had a steady yoga practice for a few years now but it wasn’t until I was at Kaizen and a student of Mindy’s that I was able to appreciate yoga for the little details. What I love most about Mindy’s classes are the many modifications she provides. Had a tough day? She’ll modify the pose so that you can use blocks and straps to unwind. Want a harder workout? She’ll take the pose a step further so you’ll feel your body work for it. This attention to detail makes for an encouraging and safe space to explore complex and difficult poses when inspired. Mindy is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend taking her classes!
