Mosaic Flow is 1:1 personal yoga therapy in a group setting. This means you start with 100% support in a 1:1 session with me where we make the perfect sequence for what you need and how to want to improve.
From there, you will have a printed PDF chart to try practicing at home and in group practice time. I am available the whole group practice time to check your form, give adjustments, answer questions. I start with 70-80% support when you start group classes and then (if I’ve done my job well!) you become increasing more independent!
•self-practice at home is more convenient; group practice is more motivation- this is the intersection between those two points. -
This class is for you if:
you are experiencing pain/discomfort on a regular basis that is disrupting your activities, sleep, hobbies. You are seeking simple solutions before the pain gets out of control.
you have gone to other experts without relief. Please have faith- if you don’t have any relief after your onboarding session, you are not required to register for classes.
you are coming back from surgery, physical therapy and need support guiding alignment and staying consistent with the protocols to get you back into sports, activities.

You practice a sequence I customize for you at your own pace. You can practice for 30 minutes to 3hrs, it’s up to you- you decide the pace and I’m here to support you with answers to questions, modifications and hands-on adjustments.

Good rehab practices move you towards “normal life”. If that means yoga, great, but this particular program is not about working deep into poses. This is about teaching you how to take care of yourself so you can do everything you want- run a 10km, learn surfing, dig deep into crazy yoga moves- but most importantly, I want you to be able to move about in your daily life without pain.

• 1:1 lessons can be outside of one’s budget on an ongoing basis.

F | Kaizen Daeyeon 9-11amThere are practice “windows” where you come in and practice a sequence custom designed for you. You can come anytime during class time, you don’t need to be there at the “start time” to join class. Must finish by class ending time.

We schedule a 1:1 private session (onboarding) before you start/ join group class. We figure out what poses you need based on your symptoms and I design a sequence for you to practice every time you come and give you a PDF to follow. Onboarding includes the 1:1 session, and customized printable PDF.

All sequences are designed in “chunks” meaning you can adapt to your needs for the day. If you only have 30 minutes, you can do the warm up and one focal pose and skip the rest. If you have more time, you can go more slowly through the full sequence. I am here to support your needs!

I will contact you via kakao/whatsapp (or email) to schedule a 1:1 onboarding session. (about 60 minutes)
I will take photos during our 1:1 session. I will create a practice chart pdf with a bunch of “mini-yous” doing those poses for you know the sequence. (You don’t need to memorize anything.) The chart will be ready within a week.
You will decide which group Mosaic Practice you will join and sign up like any other Kaizen group class!

My “Why” (and How)
My doctor refused
to start me in physical therapy after my ACL surgery. I was so scared of my back pain returning if staying in bed all day so from day 2 after surgery, I was doing basic movements (lifting myself off the bed rails, trying to lift my legs, arm stretches, ANYTHING to keep moving. I was walking unassisted (no brace) in 6 weeks.
