Mindy + Ricardo are joining forces again! With a diverse background in movement, both bring their own expertise to this hybrid workshop that is bound to be sweat-sation!
Ricardo has experience in bodyweight training, mixed martial arts and loves playing with improvised movements. He's addicted to bars- the non-alcoholic kind. Whether on the ground of perched on mental up high- he can't keep still!
Mindy fell in love with acroyoga shortly after completing her teacher training. She takes the partner support and applies that to her regular yoga classes. There is a lot to be learned when a solid floor is replaced by a non so solid human foundation!
What to expect: this workshop will challenge your balance, strength and conditioning. We will use partners to approach both static postures and dynamic movement, learning so much about our own bodies along the way! No acroyoga or yoga specific experience required but participants should be able to hold plank for a minimum of 30 seconds. This ensures a safe experience for all participants. Please notify Mindy and Ricardo of wrist, shoulder and knee issues before starting class.
Additionally, as there is partner work, please be comfortable being touched and touching others.
This class will be at our home away from home, Tribal Yoga. Please join us! $20 saves your space ($10 for Tribal members). May be paid in person at the studio.
