Strength + Social Club | Sundays 6pm
A Sunday Ritual for Strength, Confidence, and Connection
There’s a shift that happens as we get older.
What used to “work” no longer feels quite right. Long cardio sessions, pushing harder, doing more—it doesn’t always leave us feeling stronger. Sometimes, it leaves us more tired, more disconnected, or unsure of what our body actually needs.
Research continues to point to something many of us were never taught:
Strength training isn’t optional as we age—it’s essential.
It supports bone density, muscle mass, hormonal health, and long-term mobility. It helps us stay capable, independent, and resilient in our bodies.
And yet, for many of us, strength training feels out of reach.
Weight rooms can feel intimidating.
Programs feel confusing or too aggressive.
And if you’ve never been taught how to build strength in a way that feels safe and supportive, it’s easy to stay where it feels familiar—even if it’s no longer serving you.
This is where Strength & social Club begins.
Inspired by the research of Dr. Stacey Sims, one of the leading experts and researchers in health and exercise physiology for women, A weekly Sunday evening practice designed to help you build strength in your body—and feel supported while doing it. This comes not through pushing harder, but through understanding how your body works, and how to work with it.
The Practice
Each week, we focus on building strength through a yoga-based approach that prioritizes control, stability, and awareness.
Rather than chasing intensity, we work with:
controlled, intentional movement
progressive strength-building
mobility that supports your strength
Over time, you’ll develop:
greater stability and coordination
confidence in your body
a clearer understanding of how to move in a way that supports you long-term
This is strength training—but taught in a way that meets you where you are.
A Progressive Structure
Each month follows a simple progression, allowing you to build strength gradually:
Week 1 — Foundations
Awareness, control, and alignmentWeek 2 — Strength
Building load and stabilityWeek 3 — Integration
Applying strength to balance and movementWeek 4 — Expression
Flow, exploration, and confidence
You don’t need experience—just a willingness to learn.
The Supper
More research: the greatest contributing factor to aging well and a happy life is relationships and a sense of community. This robot revolution is coming faster and strong that we could have anticipated.
After practice, we gather for a shared meal. This is a chance to be slow, be present and to cultivate a screenless connection. Here we share a table, a conversation, or simply the quiet presence of others.
Health isn’t just an inside job- it’s built through connection, through support, and through feeling like you’re not doing it alone. It’s something we build together.
Who This Is For
This space is especially supportive if you:
