Time to open up! The dog days of summer will be filled with stretching and strengthening to unlock our "6 degrees of freedom." Whether looking to gain more range of motion to play harder, or find more ease and less pain from too little movement, these master classes will benefit all.

This is the first of five workshops focused on one specific asana to explore different hip movement patterns. Students may take master classes individually or a set!
#1 | Hanumanasana
This is kind of a default ground zero for yoga posing. This is the start of the spectacle of yoga- viewing the practice outside as some form of extreme capability rather than a therapeutic tool with benefits to serve everyone.
In week 1, we look at body balance and "strength-based stretching." Rather than finding extreme limits, we use this pose to identify imbalances and rebuilt based on strength. Whether you've been doing splits since childhood or feel like your hamstrings are made of metal, come cultivate your inner monkey god with a deep dive into splits!
